With Rosa ‘Shades of Red’, the Heinje nursery from Jeddeloh presents an impressive new rose variety that attracted considerable attention at this year’s IPM Essen. The plant captivates with its particularly vibrant play of colours, which changes continuously throughout the flowering period, ensuring strong visual impact and sales appeal.

From June to August, ‘Shades of Red’ displays an intense spectrum ranging from vivid rose red to deep dark red. The striking two-tone effect results from the simultaneous development of differently coloured blooms – a feature that draws the eye in both individual sales and larger displays. Its upright, bushy growth and healthy, robust nature make this variety a reliable choice for the trade.

This rose is suitable for borders as well as for container planting on patios and balconies. Thanks to its harmonious appearance and long-lasting blooms, it also holds potential as a distinctive gift idea – an added selling point during the seasonal peak.
