Strong Roots for Great Success – INKARHO at IPM 2025

INKARHO impresses trade visitors with innovative solutions

For over 25 years, the INterest Group for CALcareous tolerant RHOdodendrons – known as INKARHO – has stood for rhododendrons with strong roots. These roots enable the plants to thrive and bloom abundantly in a wide range of locations, provided there is sufficient humus, even in peat-reduced or peat-free soils. At IPM 2025, numerous trade visitors had the opportunity to witness the quality of INKARHO plants firsthand. The spotlight was on their strong brand concepts: Bloombux, Happydendron, Easydendron, Grazeasy, and the INKARHO Scented Hedge.

IPM offered the ideal platform for INKARHO to engage with trade professionals and showcase their unique rhododendrons. And with great success:
“It’s encouraging to see how much interest in our INKARHO rhododendrons has grown. We received plenty of positive feedback from partners who already offer them in their ranges. These rhododendrons have now become a standard in many assortments,” says Ralf Lüttmann, Managing Director of INKARHO. Many new – including international – business contacts were made during detailed discussions at the show.

Each INKARHO brand brings its own unique strengths. While Bloombux has become a popular flowering alternative to boxwood, Happydendron stands out for its striking tricoloured blooms. The INKARHO Scented Hedge is, true to its name, known for its delightful fragrance. Grazeasy impresses with its elegant shape and purplish foliage, with additional varieties set to launch in the 2025/2026 season. For a splash of colour, Easydendron is the perfect choice, offering over 30 different colour varieties.
“With INKARHO rhododendrons, there’s something for everyone – and they’re all low-maintenance. That’s the kind of feedback we heard again and again at the IPM,” says Lüttmann. The attractive, high-quality marketing materials and strong media presence – supported by extensive press and social media activities – further boost the popularity of INKARHO rhododendrons.
