Successful Winter Fair at Heinje Nursery Sets the Tone for the 2026 Season

Strong interest in new rose variety and concept plants, plus positive feedback from the trade

With overwhelmingly positive feedback, Heinje Nursery looks back on this year’s Winter Fair. Throughout the event, numerous trade visitors from Germany and abroad took the opportunity to visit the company in Jeddeloh and explore the range for the upcoming garden season across roughly 6,000 square meters of exhibition space. Personal interaction was also an important part of the experience: alongside the popular lounge area at the end of the exhibition, the snack station serving winter waffles proved especially popular among visitors.

Once again, the focus of the Winter Fair was on forward-looking novelties and proven concept plants designed to meet current market demands. Among the highlights was the new rose ‘Shades of Red’, which impressed with its striking color palette ranging from vibrant red to deep velvet tones. Thanks to its healthy growth, long flowering period from June to August, and versatile use in beds or containers, it attracted great attention from many visitors.

Heinje also presented further outstanding items from its assortment, including the ground-cover panicle hydrangea ‘Groundbreaker’ in three color variations and the compact hibiscus series ‘Big Hibiskiss’ and ‘Little Hibiskiss’. Established favorites such as the ‘Fruchtbengel’ fruit trees and Inkarho rhododendrons — including the ‘Grazeasy’ in new flower colors — were also on display. All concepts were presented with coordinated point-of-sale materials, allowing trade visitors to gain a full impression of the product presentation and marketing support.
